ENGLISH
The only Service Station in Bamaga charged us $330 for a
tank of fuel. We didn't want to use up all that fuel at once and decided to stay
a few more days at Eliot Creek, in order to recover from that shock. (Gee,
things are cheap up here...) With fresh courage, an almost full tank of fuel
and an empty wallet we headed south to the old Moreton Telegraph Station where
we camped under one of the original old Telegraph Poles. (How exciting...)

Die einzige
Tankstelle in Bamaga hatte uns $330 fuer eine Tankfuellung abgenommen. Wir
wollten den Sprit jetzt nicht auf einmal verfahren, und haben beschlossen ein
paar Tage beim Eliot Creek zu bleiben um uns von dem Schrecken zu erholen.
(Mann, alles ist so billig hier...)
Mit frischem Mut,
vollem Tank und leerer Brieftasche ging es dann wieder Richtung Sueden zur
alten Moreton Telegraphen Station , wo wir unter einem originalen, historischen Telegraphenmast gecampt hatten. (ach, wie aufregend...)
